Garrick Lifting has introduced  a new range of TOHO Builders Hoist that are BRUSHLESS.

Key advantages of this include:

• Increased Efficiencies – A brushless builders hoist has the added advantages of increased efficiencies. There is no use of carbon brush so the friction loss between the carbon brush and the commutator is eliminated, making the energy conversion more efficient. This higher efficiency not only improves the energy efficiency of the motor, but also reduces the heat generated during the operation of the motor, thus extending the service life of the motor. Duty Cycle increases to 50%
• Reduced wear on the motor – This in turn reduces the wear on the motor as there are no parts that create friction (such as carbon brushes and commutators) in the structure of the brushless motor.
• Noise Reduction – The brushless motor also runs more smoothly because there is no mechanical contact between the carbon brush and the commutator, so the generation of noise and vibration is reduced. This makes brushless motors more suitable for applications that require low noise and stable operation.
